2. a person who believes fully that postage stamps and mail connect the world, regardless of where, from or to, they go.
3. the joyful experience of knowing you're a local because your mail made it to its destination.

The postage stamp is truly wonderful. It can travel the world, experience the lives of a million different people, go through the doors of strangers; and never once lose sight of where it's headed.

Summer has arrived...

Summer has finally begun for me and, although it has taken a while to get here, it is much appreciated all the same.

In celebration of the wonderous joy of summer, I spent a good four minutes this morning enjoying the many joys of the "Crackerjack" surprise.


Today, I am also super pumped for what mail shall arrive. The post(/wo)man hasn't come yet, but s/he shall do soon, and when s/he does -- I can't wait!
I'm expecting quite a bit of mail today, and in celebration of this summer specialness, I hope those predictions are correct!
