Alright, alright!!

cos-mo-post-al-an [koz-muh-postal-en]: adjective/noun
1. a person
who belongs to all the world; not limited to just one part of the world; can make their home anywhere in the world.
2. a person who believes fully that postage stamps and mail connect the world, regardless of where, from or to, they go.
3. the joyful experience of knowing you're a local because your mail made it to its destination

The postage stamp is truly wonderful. It can travel the world, experience the lives of a million different people, go through the doors of strangers; and never once lose sight of where it's headed.
Welcome to the land of cosmopostalan : travel, mail and words. It's a crazy little place in my corner of the woods; wherever that may be!

This new stamp collection is something that I am not afraid to say that I am deeply in-love with. The designers did a fantastic job, so much so that I bought one pane to use and one pane to keep for my collection. I just keep loving all of the stamp collections! Don't you?

Something about the combination of nature, industry and design--and the new perspective supplied by this stamp collection--makes me so happy and excited to use these stamps! The aesthetic of the colours, lines and shapes makes for one heck of a collection. It's pretty impressive.

To pick a favourite, I just don't think I could! They're all so beautiful. But the ones that stick out as my ones "To Not Use Until The End" are probably: Center-pivot irrigation; Railroad roundhouse; Sal evaporation ponds; and Cherry orchard. But I love them all.

I've already used two of the stamps: Inland marsh & Skyscraper apartments; and they looked fantastic. I am very, very much loving this pane. A lot.

Hurricane Sandy!

It is horrendous that I remark that it has been so long since I last wrote! I feel terrible, but my blogging has taken a bit of a backseat these past two weeks because I have had much too much on my plate.
Hurricane Sandy is on her way to Boston, and with that--I have had plenty of time to sit down and reply to my letters! Luckily, not yet by candlelight!
I have many photos to share, and shall get them up on the site in a few!
I am very glad to be back, and hope to hear from you soon!

And I have to admit--not a lot of mail has made its way to me lately! I think that maybe mail is slowing down for my penpals as this increase in busy-ness.
But I look forward to mail all the same!

Outgoing to AAn., in U.S.A.

A celebratory outgoing to C., in U.S.A.

More celebratory outgoing to M., in Australia.

Some Halloween spirit to S., in U.S.A.

And some of my favourite stamps of choice!

Hope you have a great week, readers!

Outgoing and Incoming

This week has already been suffocatingly busy! No incoming mail since Saturday!
Hope everyone else's mailbox has fared better than mine!

A letter to penpal R., in Australia.

Some of the goodies that await her letter!

A humourous piece to B., in United States!

A letter from my lovely AA., venturing through Miami Beach!

Today is only Wednesday which is, unbelievably, only half-way through the week. Hump Day.
But, come tomorrow--the weekend will only be one day away.
Let's get to Wednesday!
