Alright, alright!!

cos-mo-post-al-an [koz-muh-postal-en]: adjective/noun
1. a person
who belongs to all the world; not limited to just one part of the world; can make their home anywhere in the world.
2. a person who believes fully that postage stamps and mail connect the world, regardless of where, from or to, they go.
3. the joyful experience of knowing you're a local because your mail made it to its destination

The postage stamp is truly wonderful. It can travel the world, experience the lives of a million different people, go through the doors of strangers; and never once lose sight of where it's headed.
Welcome to the land of cosmopostalan : travel, mail and words. It's a crazy little place in my corner of the woods; wherever that may be!

Earthscapes

This new stamp collection is something that I am not afraid to say that I am deeply in-love with. The designers did a fantastic job, so much so that I bought one pane to use and one pane to keep for my collection. I just keep loving all of the stamp collections! Don't you?

Something about the combination of nature, industry and design--and the new perspective supplied by this stamp collection--makes me so happy and excited to use these stamps! The aesthetic of the colours, lines and shapes makes for one heck of a collection. It's pretty impressive.

To pick a favourite, I just don't think I could! They're all so beautiful. But the ones that stick out as my ones "To Not Use Until The End" are probably: Center-pivot irrigation; Railroad roundhouse; Sal evaporation ponds; and Cherry orchard. But I love them all.

I've already used two of the stamps: Inland marsh & Skyscraper apartments; and they looked fantastic. I am very, very much loving this pane. A lot.

Hurricane Sandy!

It is horrendous that I remark that it has been so long since I last wrote! I feel terrible, but my blogging has taken a bit of a backseat these past two weeks because I have had much too much on my plate.
Hurricane Sandy is on her way to Boston, and with that--I have had plenty of time to sit down and reply to my letters! Luckily, not yet by candlelight!
I have many photos to share, and shall get them up on the site in a few!
I am very glad to be back, and hope to hear from you soon!
